One of the most important foods given by nature it’s chocolate. Its scientific name is theobromine : “food of Gods”. It has been cultivated for several years by Indians that with nomads habits; allow that this wonderful food, spread in different areas. Christopher Columbus took this delicious bean to Europe in 1502 allowing the crown to get the most amazing seed from cocoa. An Aztec emperor Moctezuma introduced xocotlatl, that was a drink made by roasted, crushed cocoa beans and fresh water that brought energetic properties to their bodies. Different studies point that chocolate is an important food with cardiovascular properties. The powerful chocolate has an important effect also in our brain; working as a mood modulator; due to is able to stimulate the production of serotonin that is a neurotransmitter having an important role in depression. Dark chocolate keeps your energy up, without climbing peaks of blood sugar levels; allowing to satisfy your sweet tooth. Chocolate has important antioxidant properties. Has an important content of Vitamin B3, B5; magnesium, potassium, Iron, Manganese, Selenium, zinc, Caffeine and Theobromine. This complex of vitamins, gives the properties to work as anti-inflammatory, decreasing the risk for Cancer, infarcts, and strokes. I invite you to eat dark chocolate at least twice a week !!

El emperador Moctezuma introdujo a Cristobal Colon; tomar semillas de cacao en Agua fresca; y fue tanta Su facinacion que lo exporto a Europa end 1502 permitiendo asi a la nobleza conocer una de las comidas mas nutritivas. El chocolate tiene propiedades antiinflamtorias, cardioprotectoras. Es un alimento excelente para la salud cerebral debido a que estimula la produccion de serotonina que es un neurotranmisor con un papel importante en el control de la depression. El chocolate oscuro te permite obtener un buen nivel de energia, ayudando a regular los niveles de azucar en forma estable.
